In time with the release of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne on Friday, September 6, 2019, we're releasing a free downloadable armor set perfect for players who are new to Monster Hunter: World.
The Guardian armor set features skills that boost your maximum health, increase healing effects, and reduce damage, which are sure to keep you from carting as you hunt your way through the story. Though this set boasts high-rank-level stats and defense, you can equip it from the very beginning of Monster Hunter: World!
For Players Creating New Characters
- Start a new game and continue until you reach the "Create Your Hunter" character creation screen.
- At the character creation screen, open the "Default Armor" option and select "Guardian α+".
For Players with Existing Characters
- Make sure you have progressed far enough in the game to have gotten your first assignment in Astera.
- Go to your room and talk to the Housekeeper.
- Select "Claim Add-On & Bonuses", then "Armor Set: Guardian".
